There are so many weight loss plans out there….so many people (Like me!😜) chipping in with their nickles worth of free advice…so many adverts promising you that this is the way to lose weight.
I want to keep this really simple….
Anyone worth their salt knows that to lose weight you have to be in calorie deficit. Full stop! 💯
Weight loss or weight gain is a scientific equation.
✅Consume more calories than your body needs – you gain weight
✅Consume less calories than your body needs – you lose weight
How easy is it to stay within a calorie defecit?…. Well that is a different question and will depend on factors such as
1) What types of food you are consuming
2) How much of a calorie defecit you are in
3) Emotional attachments to food
4) Who does the cooking for the food you are eating
5) Forming new habits around food and drink
By appreciating that to lose weight we must find out whether we are in a calorie defecit more often than not is the first step to our weight loss success. Don’t be fooled by anything else.
