There are so many weight loss plans out there….so many people (Like me!😜) chipping in with their nickles worth of free advice…so many adverts promising you that this is the way to lose weight. ⁣

I want to keep this really simple….⁣

Anyone worth their salt knows that to lose weight you have to be in calorie deficit. Full stop! 💯⁣

Weight loss or weight gain is a scientific equation. ⁣

✅Consume more calories than your body needs – you gain weight⁣

✅Consume less calories than your body needs – you lose weight⁣

How easy is it to stay within a calorie defecit?…. Well that is a different question and will depend on factors such as ⁣

1) What types of food you are consuming⁣
2) How much of a calorie defecit you are in⁣
3) Emotional attachments to food⁣
4) Who does the cooking for the food you are eating⁣
5) Forming new habits around food and drink⁣

By appreciating that to lose weight we must find out whether we are in a calorie defecit more often than not is the first step to our weight loss success. Don’t be fooled by anything else. ⁣
